ETHEKWINI MUNICIPALITY ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF GROUNDBREAKING DISASTER PREVENTION AGREEMENT
EThekwini Mayor Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda and Santam Group Chief Executive Officer Tavaziva Madzinga will tomorrow, 23 November announce the groundbreaking agreement between the Municipality and Santam.
The catastrophic floods earlier this year affected both public and private infrastructure and resulted in the loss of many lives. Since then, the City and Santam have been in ongoing discussions to ensure eThekwini Municipality is better prepared and able to mitigate against future disasters such as fire, floods, and drought.
