Affiliate Programme: Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to everyone who joins the Titanium Media South Africa (“TMSA”, “we”, “us”) Affiliate Programme. By activating an affiliate account in the TMSA client area, you (“the affiliate”) agree to these terms.

1. Joining the programme

1.1 Any person or business with a TMSA client account can join. Individuals must be 18 years or older.

1.2 To join, log in to the TMSA client area, open Affiliates and click Activate Affiliate Account. Your personal referral link is created immediately.

1.3 We may decline or close any affiliate account at our discretion, including where we believe these terms have been broken.

2. How referrals work

2.1 Share your personal referral link. When someone clicks it, our system remembers the referral for 90 days on that device and browser.

2.2 A referral counts when that person orders a qualifying hosting plan through our website within those 90 days.

2.3 You cannot earn commission on your own purchases or on accounts you control, including accounts belonging to your own business or household.

2.4 If someone has cleared their cookies, used a different device or browser, or ordered without using your link, the referral may not be recorded. We are not responsible for referrals that are not tracked.

3. Commission

3.1 You earn 10% of each payment the referred customer makes for a qualifying hosting plan, calculated on the full amount paid including VAT.

3.2 Qualifying hosting plans are Web Hosting Basic, Web Hosting Standard, Web Hosting Advanced and Web Hosting Deluxe.

3.3 Commission is paid for 12 months per website. For each website you refer, you earn commission on every paid invoice for its hosting plan for the first 12 months, counted from that website’s first payment. Each website you refer gets its own full 12 months, whenever it signs up. After 12 months, commission on that website ends.

3.4 No commission is paid on:

• domain name registrations, transfers or renewals
• add-ons and upgrades
• website design, social media, retainer and other custom services
• invoices that are unpaid, refunded or reversed
• any discount: where a promotion or special offer applies, commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, and free periods earn no commission

3.5 Example: a referred customer on Web Hosting Standard pays R179 a month. You earn R179 × 10% = R17.90 for each month they pay, for up to 12 months: 12 × R17.90 = R214.80 in total for that website.

4. When commission becomes available

4.1 Each commission is held as pending for 30 days after the customer’s payment.

4.2 After 30 days it becomes available to withdraw, but only if the customer’s hosting service is still active. If the service has been cancelled, suspended or refunded in that time, that commission is cancelled.

4.3 If a payment is later refunded or reversed, we may deduct the related commission from your balance.

5. Payouts

5.1 You can request a payout once your available balance reaches R200.00. Use the Request Withdrawal button in the Affiliates section of the client area.

5.2 Payouts are made by EFT to a South African bank account in the affiliate’s name. We will contact you for your banking details and may ask for proof of the account.

5.3 Payouts are processed on a 30-day cycle. Once your available balance is at least R200.00 and you have requested a withdrawal, we will pay you within 30 days of receiving your request and banking details.

5.4 VAT: if you are a registered VAT vendor, you must send us a valid tax invoice for the commission amount plus VAT before payment. If you are not registered for VAT, no VAT is added. You are responsible for declaring your commission income for tax purposes.

5.5 There is no maximum on what you can earn.

6. How you may promote TMSA

6.1 You may share your link on your website, social media, email signature and with people you know.

6.2 You may not:

• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
• make false or misleading claims about TMSA, our prices or our services
• pretend to be TMSA or a TMSA employee
• bid on “Titanium Media” or similar terms in paid search advertising
• use our logo or branding except as provided in the affiliate area
• create fake accounts or referrals
• promote TMSA on websites with illegal, adult, hateful or offensive content

6.3 If you break these rules, we may cancel unpaid commission and close your affiliate account.

7. Changes and ending the programme

7.1 We may change these terms, the commission rate or the programme, or end it, by giving 30 days’ notice by email or on our website. Commission earned before the change will still be paid under the terms that applied when it was earned.

7.2 You may close your affiliate account at any time by contacting support@titaniummediasa.co.za. Your full available commission will be paid out by EFT, even if it is less than R200.00. Commission that is still pending will be paid once it becomes available.

8. General

8.1 You are an independent affiliate, not an employee, agent or partner of TMSA. You may not make commitments on our behalf.

8.2 Our records of referrals, payments and commissions are final, unless there is an obvious error.

8.3 Our liability under this programme is limited to unpaid commission that you have properly earned.

8.4 We process your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our privacy policy, only to run this programme.

8.5 These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
