KWAZULU-NATAL PREMIER NOMUSA DUBE-NCUBE LEADS INTENSIFIED EASTER LONG-WEEKEND ROAD SAFETY AND CRIME FIGHTING CAMPAIGN
In a strong show of force as part of government’s concerted efforts to effectively improve road safety during the Easter long-weekend, KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube accompanied by MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Siboniso Duma and eThekwini Mayor Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda will today, 06 April 2023, lead an intensified law enforcement operation.
Police will continue to conduct strategic operations over the Easter weekend and beyond as part of the Easter Safety and Security Plan recently launched in Pietermaritzburg.
Law enforcement agencies will be deployed in all corners of the province targeting various categories of crime, including cracking down on most wanted criminals.
Premier Dube-Ncube and Mayor Kaunda will conduct a road safety blitz at the YMCA Long Distance Taxi Rank in the Durban CBD this afternoon.
