MAYOR KAUNDA TO UPDATE CITIZENS ON PERTINENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY
The Mayor of EThekwini Municipality Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda will on Friday, 25 August 2023, hold a media briefing to update citizens on matters related to insourcing of security guards and cleaners, City Stars Excellence Awards, the flood disasters rebuilding programme, stalled uMbhayi housing project, update on the engagements with ratepayers organisations and the multi-million rands of irregular expenditure written-off by the Municipal Public Accounts Committee.
During the briefing, Mayor Kaunda will also present the major investment projects in the pipeline that are set to inject millions into the City’s rates base.
Mayor Kaunda, who will be joined by the various committee chairpersons, will also detail outcomes of the Municipal Full Council meeting.
